he's talented. Before this year he had lost one game EVER, and they had no weapons this year and the team imploded
It's an upgrade from Sean but I don't think he is that great though. Only way is if Jimbo runs the football more. You can't have Olson passing too much. Jimbo has s tendency to be too Damn pass happy.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
I could do without dude on some one year rental shyt because he's not that nice. I'd rather play one of the young guys if SMAG isn't the answer and build for the future. If he does come in, if I'm JJ I'm looking to transfer. The writing would be on the wall with the guys on campus already, Francois coming, Henry coming next year and bringing in Golson this year. :yeshrug:

They had weapons this season way more than the 2012 team on offense. Taurean Folston is a legit RB, Will Fuller,CJ Prosise,Corey Robinson,Amir Carlisle and Chris Brown were all upgrades over the trash ND had put out at WR since Michael Floyd and Tyler Eifert.

Brian Kelly kept dikking around playing bums like Cam McDaniel instead of talents like Greg Bryant. Golson has talent but Brian Kelly still thinks he's at Cincinnati sometimes with his playcalling he straight up fukked ND out of 2 wins alone with stupid playcalling.

I blame Brian Kelly and the ND defense getting decimated by injuries during the Navy game for the November tailspin.

I'd blame Golson for them losing to Arizona St other than that even with some bad fumbles he still did enough as a QB to start for FSU IMO. Jimbo won't force him into some of the silly spots Kelly did.

We need a dual threat QB with this offense this season I can't buy Maguire doing shyt he's tentative as fukk anyway. I'll take Golson fumbling going for an extra 5 yards vs scary ass Maguire trying to be captain checkdown. I'm all in Golson can ball to me I think Jimbo can get some good spots out of the kid.

We all agree MacGuire is booty. I'm still concerned about turnover machine Golson. Id rather give Johnson shot

He visitin Florida now :lupe:

Everett Golson’s trek through the Sunshine State continued Tuesday. A day after the former Notre Dame quarterback visited Florida State, he traveled two hours southeast to Gainesville to check out Florida. Golson, a fifth-year senior, plans to transfer as a graduate student and play at another school in 2015.

Multiple sources confirmed Golson’s visit to Gainesville, where first-year coach Jim McElwain is sorting out the quarterback situation he inherited from predecessor Will Muschamp. Sophomore Treon Harris, who started the final six games of the 2014 season, and redshirt freshman Will Grier split snaps during spring practice, but neither proved to McElwain that he was ready to be named the starter.

Why Everett Golson's transfer is good for the QB and Notre Dame
by Brian Hamilton
Golson, who is a Myrtle Beach, S.C., native, started 25 career games for the Fighting Irish. He helped Notre Dame to a 12-0 regular season and a berth in the BCS title game in 2012, but was suspended for the entire ’13 season because of a cheating incident in a class. He returned to Notre Dame and started 12 games in ’14, but he decided to transfer when it became clear he had fallen behind redshirt sophomoreMalik Zaire on the depth chart.

Golson’s suspension could become an issue should he wish to transfer to an SEC school. When the league revised its graduate transfer rule in 2014 to allow players with one year of eligibility remaining to transfer and play immediately, it included language in the rule that banned players who had “significant disciplinary issues” at the previous program. Such players can still transfer to an SEC school if they receive a waiver from the league office.

Golson could qualify for such a waiver because the spirit of the rule was designed to eliminate players who were running away from disciplinary action. It was instituted because league officials were embarrassed when Ole Miss used the rule in 2010 to take quarterback Jeremiah Masoli, who had been kicked off the team at Oregonduring that off-season. Golson is not running from a suspension. He served his punishment and then returned to the school that punished him.

A source said the timeline for Golson’s decision remains open. He would like to visit several other schools before he chooses a destination.

That FSU game broke their spirit, ASU in the desert is ALWAYS a problem, and by the time they made it to LA it was over before it started :wow:
