What about the religious fanatics that still suffered. Especially those that were religion fanatics back when slavery was active?

I believe in a higher power but I don't need a book (written by another man)( to direct my spirituality. Especially if the book was not written by a black man.

Every black person should read the bible. All of it. From cover to cover. Not just taking the bits and pieces they agree with.
Then throw that book in the trash, where it belongs.

I hardly think religious people are in any position to make judgments about anyone's morality.
I think people say demonic smug things about peoples logic abilities because they like the Bible probably needs to get rid of those dark spirits. Should we throw away Bibles and listen to you? :rudy:

I would say people should disregard the most vile, evil, flawed, illogical and re-edited book in the history of human kind. And instead, focus on creating a rational morality based upon thought, argument, reason and discussion.

The fact that people believe in a book that claims a talking snake, the talking burning bush, and a guy who supposedly put every animal on earth in a boat from the words of a bunch of goat herders who couldn't read or write and thought the earth was flat, over the greatest philosophical and scientific minds in history, is staggering.

Thats what the bible is. Have you read the new testament, friend? Wow, you're really missing out on the pinnacle of morality. Proverbs is better than anything you can come up with. We have what we need, right now. The problem is, doing the right thing because sadly, friend, demons want to incorporate filth into good and make it the new morality so by that LOGIC, friend, demons will always be at odds with pure good.
