I wasn't saying that he should just put up with it, I was just saying that most people are attached to their phones and need to take a picture of everything. I can't stand girls who can't leave their phones alone so I wouldn't be in this situation to begin with but if a girl took her phone out, I'd let it be known that I'm not impressed.

It's not good at all. I know people who've got pictures of places/parties/events that they've been to and they'll say that it was a terrible night out but at least they got that definitive picture for Instagram. It's gotten to the point where how we're perceived on social media takes priority over actual enjoyment and memories.
