I will agree that women are more likely to emotionally cheat and men are more likely to physically cheat.
it's wild when you think of it since each sex is more likely to cheat in the way that would bother them most.....

i'm with OP... i'll take it farther... there is no one who's at least 25, who can say they NEVER cheated on anyone... didn't flirt behind their back, exchange a number, have an almost kiss, have some friend of yours crossing the line and you keeping them around, etc etc

Some people have boundaries and stick to them. The issue is not cheating in itself. It should not even get to the point of cheating. The issue is that people do not have proper boundaries. I have not flirted, exchanged a number, almost had a kiss, or had "male friends" since I have been married which was before the age of 25. Sure I get hit on, and I am not impressed by that because I already know I'm on point. I don't need outside validation or flattery.

I think a lot of couples would come back after a week with a lot of questions, problems, and evidence of wrong doings

My husband and I have ended up with each others phones before because we have the same phone and in a rush you aren't really paying attention. There was nothing surprising on his phone except for pictures of the kids that I hadn't seen.

Everyone isn't interested in messing up intimacy and breaking trust over a cheap thrill. When you have strong boundaries you don't really have to worry about being that tempted because the boundaries will stomp it out before it gets to the point of crossing your mind.
