Wolves have had some bad picks, but you gotta put Flynn over Johnson. At least Johnson is still in the league and has had A FEW decent games. Flynn literally never did anything did he?

Adam Morrison isn't the worst for the Bobcats either. Brandon Roy flat out didn't wanna go to Charlotte and refused to even workout for the team, so they pretty much HAD to go with Morrison. Bobcats worst lottery pick was DJ Augustin. Yeah he's better than Morrison, but he's a worse pick because he wasn't needed. Charlotte already had a young Ray Felton and desperately needed a C. They picked Augustin and passed on Brook Lopez, the worst decision this franchise has made. fukkin Larry Brown just had to have Augustin :snoop: Brook Lopez is a top 3-4 center and DJ Augustin is now a backup on another team :shaq2:

Shelden Williams pick wasn't as bad as The Marvin Williams pick considering who we passed up and the fact that we already had like 3 players at the same position.

These are most disappointing picks. Not dumbest picks.

If it was dumbest picks the Blazers would have been picking Sam Bowie over Jordan. Their most disappointing pick however was Greg Oden.

Hawks most disappointing pick was Shelden Williams followed closely by Marvin Williams. The DUMBEST pick however was Marvin Williams.
Dumb because The Hawks had the finishers (Josh Childress, Josh Smith and Joe Johnson) on the team and all they needed was a playmaker to get them the ball. Any dummy would have picked a PG to get all these great finishers the ball in osition for them to make plays.

Little did they know that your GM at the time masturbated to thought of 6'8 players on a nightly basis. :laff:

I'd have to say for the Spurs it would be Sean Elliott at #3 in 1989. He's a legend in SA and helped them get that first ring but they should've took Glen Rice instead.

The Spurs probably get to at least 1 or 2 Finals in David Robinson's prime if they take Rice instead of Elliott

No surprise the Wizards' is Kwame, but dang, at least he's carved out a decade+ long career in the League. And even averaged double figures in scoring one year (with the Wiz).

Vesely's well on his way to replacing Kwame on this list, but then, IDK if I'd consider him a "disappointment". I was :snoop: the moment they drafted him.

Drafting Bowie over Jordan was not dumb. Portland already had Drexler, where was Jordan going to play?

For all that you can say Houston was stupid for selecting Olajuwon when they already had Sampson

Yeah you gotta say the Bowie pick was way more disappointing than it was dumb. They needed a big man and like you said, already had Clyde, so Bowie was their guy. Not a dumb pick, just ended up being a very disappointing one.

That list sucked ass

Jan Vesely is a way more disappointing pick than Kwame.

Wagner had ridiculous upside compared to Luke.

Luke looks bad because he was supposed to help out LeBron. Wagner was supposed to come in and be a dominant scorer and that never happened.

Wagner showed promise, but was haunted by injuries.

The Sixer's pick was dead on. Shawn Bradley over Penny. I had the :what: face as a youngster. I find myself thinking "what if" all the time :aicmon:

Edit: This goes to the 98 draft. Larry Hughes. Don't get me wrong, I liked his game at the time. But Dirk and Pierce was still on the board. I'll give leniency for taking a risk on a big. But a freshman from the CUSA (at that time, keep in mind) at that spot pissed me off on the low.
