Lol! It's not actual poop. Fecal contamination means the meat or veggies have come into contact with bacteria from poop.

That's easy to do in today's mass meat producing farming factories. Cows cooped up around other sick cows and shytting everywhere.

But cooking meat properly eliminates the bacteria. Also grass fed, open range meat is less likely to have this issue for obvious reasons.

The more concerning part is how the cocktail of antibiotics given to these animals is causing superbugs resistant to any antibiotics.
You're smart, you're reasonable, and you're an asset to the Coli. Thank you for making this Quarter Pounder a little bit easier to eat with your post :salute:

This is inaccurate! While cooking beef correctly can help the eradicate bacteria, it doesn't always wipe out all of the dangerous bacteria present.

Via Consumer Reports: "The results were sobering. All 458 pounds of beef we examined contained bacteria that signified fecal contamination (enterococcus and/or nontoxin-producing E. coli), which can cause blood or urinary tract infections. Almost 20 percent contained C. perfringens, a bacteria that causes almost 1 million cases of food poisoning annually. Ten percent of the samples had a strain of S. aureus bacteria that can produce a toxin that can make you sick. That toxin can’t be destroyed—even with proper cooking."

Also there are numerous incidents yearly where people still get gravely sick or even die from eating bacteria-tainted beef even after the proper cooking procedures were utilized.

"One of the most significant impacts was back in 1982, when diners at McDonald’s restaurants in oregon and Michigan got sick, marking the first time E. coli O157:H7 was linked to food poisoning. Later outbreaks linked to ground beef would lead to recalls of nearly 22 million pounds in 2007 and 20 million in 2002.

Burger King also struggled with beef-related E. coli problems in 1997, when it had to cut ties with Hudson foods after 25 million pounds of meat were recalled. Sixteen people fell ill in Colorado from the contamination, and hundreds of restaurants in 28 states had to remove burgers from their menus."

4 of the biggest E. coli fast food disasters ever

Also, below is the actual detailed report (based on the brief video O.P. submitted) from Consumer Reports which goes into depth about the test procedures & results of their contaminated beef study.

How Safe Is Your Ground Beef?

If you don’t know how the ground beef you eat was raised, you may be putting yourself at higher risk of illness from dangerous bacteria. You okay with that?

I read an article recently that was talking about how the chemicals in our water is causing cancer and all kinda other shyt. With that said, apparently everything we put in our body is contaminated so why even stress over shyt like this, OP?

Perfect example in Dallas they ran a test on tap water and it showed that the tap water had AZT, Viagra and other pharmaceutical chemicals in the water.

Basically when taking these pills release them in our waste. They are almost impossible to remove out of the water supply (unlike germs, dirt and normal human waste).

This is one of the reasons women all over the world have rocket fuel in their breast milk.
