Excellent movie. In my top 5

But every, smarty arty, goofball im deep head ass, thinks this is some groundbreaking truth when it isn’t at all. So this man KNEW that white soldiers put the breh up to act a fool yet this man kills the black solider and doesn’t do shyt to the white ones?!:gucci: All cause he acted an ass is front of some sour smelly ass french women?

I don't know if its deep or not, but we should all agree ain't nothing more dangerous than a oblivious c00n.

I can’t think of anything more c00nish than killing another breh for acting a fool, locking up other soldiers, and framing another one for having a gun that HE planted.

All CJ did was play guitar, be good at baseball and be a country boy. That’s it.

i havent seen this movie, whats its about?

It’s about the dangers of light-skin black men in high positions of power

something ppl either don’t get or like to talk about was sarge was a c00n as well…CJ was mostly just simple and ignorant but what was sarge’s excuse?

he’s the type who believes in respectability politics…the “oh if it wasn’t for you type of black people, they’d respect us” type

to a larger degree tho (I haven’t seen the film in a while) it made me think just how much some of us have been mindfucked into hating ourselves—peterson hated sarge who hated CJ etc.

I agree with the sentiment, I always thought that the Sergeant was misguided and wrong

Though I think the scene is even deeper than what it is because it shows the danger of groupthink and extreme identity politics... It should be obvious that you can't control everybody and that if your "plan" relies on that, it's bound to fail

I can't be bothered to clean that thought up right now though
