Waiters is terrible

He's not a guy SA needs.

They need a young SG who can get better
He fits exactly what you just said. Waiters isn't even 25 yet and Stephen Jackson wasn't considered a San Antonio guy neither and they made it work.

The front court isn't the problem.

Danny Green, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginoubli are the problem. You need a dominant wing in this league now. Tony used to be that guy. He's now more of a bench player.

You mean like if they had a wing player who was second in MVP votes this year and won his second straight DPOY award:jbhmm:

Spurs fans are depending on gasol :mjlol:

you are doomed, great day for the NBA:russ:

The 66-win Spurs who already have a stacked lineup just added Gasol for $30 million.

The 16-win Lakers just added Mosgov for $64 million.

And you're clowning the Spurs.

Kobestans make the whole NBA universe stupider.

Even if Duncan did return, he would now need to come off the bench lmao

Pau and lamarcus are clearly starters, still playin some of the best ball of they careers

It's over for Timmy

:why:

You are talking about the team that just won the title in 2014, right? :dwillhuh:

Lakers haven't won a title since you were in 8th grade.

Yeah. Last year I thought he could still have a meaningful role, but unless his leg has miraculously gotten better, I think that he's basically left with an "old vet leadership role", or he's retiring.

SAN ANTONIO SPURS NY DIVISION
Spurs stans :snoop: so we're going to sit here and act like every year they will be a top 2 team with no less than 50 wins. Age doesn't factor into any of this apparently. Look at their roster. This is arguably their weakest roster in a very long time. Look at the pieces they have to complement Kawhi. Old and unathletic. Not to mention they got even slower with Pau as their 5 when everyone else is playing small. They are washed my nikka there is no way in hell they are a 2nd seeded team this year, again, unless Kawhi and LA carry them to be that team.

The team as a whole is way younger this year...

Gasol/Manu/TP are really the only old guys there..And Duncan if he comes back..

Its pretty much on the young guys to step up to the plate

They will either be a 2 seed or 3 seed in the West

Too me next summer is the key for the spurs and their future. Next year it's essential we get a starting PG and a starting SG. Mills and green need to be gone next summer
