My concrete info is the fact that he gets no radio play out here and never did. That doesnt mean people werent talking about him but hes no up and coming star out here. You wont be satisfied by any answer other than "hes a trending topic in every hood" which just isnt true bruh. What do I gain by hating on Bobby fukking Smurda? smh

And what does your choice of entertainment have to do with role models? Well, you used the word "galvanize", right? To my understanding, galvanize essentially means to motivate or inspire someone to take action. Sort of like a role model, right? What actions are Meek and Bobby Schmurda motivating or inspiring NYC teenagers to take? Drugs, murder, spending illicit profits from drugs and murder, showing no love to women (specifically black women) or "thots", etc. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy ignorant rap just like the next man, but ignorant rap does not galvanize me to mirror what is spoken on in those raps. Again, YOU used the word galvanize. I'm sure you used that word because you in the streets and can vouch for what YOU said, right?

Who should they be listening to, in your opinion? They can listen to whomever they want.

I respect where you're coming from, but I think the misunderstanding here is that you're accustomed to the word "galvanize" being used in a social or political context.

Galvanize - "shock or excite (someone), typically into taking action" in this case those actions are singing and dancing. That's all I'm talking about, I see kids singing his catchphrases and even more kids randomly busting out into his dance. His lyrics are pretty weak, so that doesn't mean much to me. But as far as the dancing goes I haven't seen anything like it in awhile.
