He's garnered his fanbase/notoriety off Youtube videos where he doesn't even show his face like that, and talks to his fans via streaming while playing video games on twitch.tv. Going from that to being in front of celebs is gonna be rough. This was his first time really being in an industry setting. Bro don't know how to act around all these people with some decent net worth.

Well yeah people always tryna punk him, but I was speaking more to just how he looked visibly nervous all night on that red carpet. It was his first industry event, and you can tell he's still got work to do if he's to pursue the journalism path in that manner. Which is why Joe handled most of the talking until Migos. He's just not used to that type of environment.

But yeah, it's whack to try to punk a dude that is openly soft and has no issues about it. Follows the same idea of when someone makes fun of themselves, it's not as fun/funny to keep making the jokes.

Watching this in full, I don't know what Joe was thinking. I understand he was mad that he couldn't hear them, he felt like they didn't want to be there and hated he had to wrap it up early but he has to have more self control. Also Quavo and them should have just let Joe spazz out, they ain't have to react either.
