i really dont need to see them belittling each other the entire show tho. im glad they pulled back on that w/ this one. its budden constantly talking over everyone and cutting akademiks off that to me begins to get irritating. he's prove he is knowledgeable and well spoken. but for a discussion there needs to be some kinda etiquette and order here.

The whole not getting his political stance or whatever from his music narrative irritated me from Akademiks...

...THAT is the problem. They think everything intellectual is too preachy. It's retarded.

It's just a guise to hide the fact they HE and others like him couldn't comprehend some of the elements of the album..TPAB in part mostly was about Kendrick dealing with fame, dealing with inner demons, life experiences and survival guilt on coming back to Compton after having massive success with his debut album. The album sounds scapes were unapologetically BLACK, with jazz, funk, blues, spoken word, live instrumentation etc. Even some of the messages were Pro Black ( blacker the berry, complexion, last verse on I) BUT it wasn't a pro black album filled with "negro spirituals" or Kendrick speaking on "political points" that narrative is compltely FALSE.

Yea they need to bring someone in who can handle Joe. He goes off on rants that don't really have shyt to do with the topic I mean I guess they do but its long winded. He still hurt b/c LA Reid critiqued his shyt back in the Def Jam days. The chick looks petrified and Ak with his weird hand gestures always look intimidated and overall brings nothing to the table. Joe just be hollering for no reason trying to make a point that no one cares about after you yell for 2-3 minutes straight. He'll say some shyt about LA Reid not knowing shyt about hip hop, say he's the cause for this R&B melodic driven style of music nowadays and then in the same breath praise said music and artists. . What gets this cat in trouble is his tone and the way he talks about people. Thats why Raekwon and his crew had to fukk him up for talking slick. This cat needs to get back on his meds and calm down.
