Having that lame hoe ass nikka be the "voice" of the rap populace does all of us a disservice though...Damn near every argument he makes sounds weak because its coming from him...Makes for a horrible dynamic... Lil whiny voiced lame trying to sneak his opinion in between buddens screaming opiate withdrawal fueled rants of rage bout the simplest shyt... If they want to pull off a bootleg rap first take, they gotta find someone with a personality at least half as strong as buddens...He does a good enough Screamin' A rendition... But Ak too much of a hoe to get his internet troll gimmick over on camera, he's no Skip Bayless
I agree with all of this.

Budden taught me a few things though, like the way he broke down Epic was interesting. I never liked La Reid but Buddens analysis of him was interesting.

Also he taught some of y'all praying baby what a flop really is lol.
I mean, I guess if you're a younger fan, some of his information does help give a better understanding, but the stuff he breaks down I've known for like 10-15 years now. He's not breaking any new ground. I think he overstates how much fans care about the inner-workings and the corporate machine. Joe comes off like he's bitter and has a vendetta and wants to do more exposing of the system rather than educate the people.

He's still a great entertainer though, and I feel this is his calling.

I think what he's good at is being more in tune with what people actually are saying and talking about in real life. Joe Budden is a hermit, that doesn't really know what people care/talk about outside of his immediate circle. It's clear whenever there's a debate about a topic, Budden usually goes extra hard on topics nobody cares about but him

Donald Trump is POTUS in real life.

He's in tune with sensationalism...he's dope at media, I respect his hustle on that front but that's tabloid shyt. He sounds dumb next to Joe when speaking on Hip Hop.

good ep.

-Budden the junkie that he is, thought Don Cheadle was Omar from the Wire

-"Not all supermen wear capes" - Akademics

-On discussing Melo and Lala, Joe gets at Akademics once again for being a virgin and his amateur views on woman...

Akademics said he saw a picture of Melo looking at Rihanna (this is a grown 27 year old man saying this)

True he has a vendetta, but I feel he wants to do both with his vendetta being primary since his rap career isn't as successful as he would have liked and he might be blackballed or something. Also your right that I don't think most fans care but me myself am interested to learn about how it works and I feel others should care because if you are listening to the music you should learn about the way some music is pushed on us and how the industry works as well as its trends.

I feel this is his calling too and it's dope that just like Nore podcasting is opening doors to him to new opportunity but at the same time dude is a dope emcee too. His career is just not moving like it should be and slaughterhouse seems to be doing awful at Shady.
