Yo, this argument they had about Katy Perry and Migos, though.
Ak was flat out wrong about Bad and Boujee hitting another level after Donald Glover gave them some shine during his Golden Globes speech. The song was doing just fine before, but prior to that, the only people that fukked with it for real were us (the target audience), and essentially people wrapped up in Twitter culture (which rides hip hop culture hard anyway). The thing is, as large as its userbase may be, Twitter is like anything else on the internet, in that it represents a portion of the people, not the people period. There are tons of artists (Migos, prior to Culture included) that are popping on Twitter, but get little to no support from those fans when it comes time to buy/stream.
Also, the fukk was this nikka thinking with that Juicy J shyt?. Breh was on that Katy Perry song a few years back, and for the most part, has been low key since. shyt did absolutely nothing for him, but ole girl definitely got a look from people that normally wouldn't from the verse/beat.
