I think the point he was trying to make yesterday was Vanilla Ice was a manufactured star,he wasn't a star in his own right

Once the label stopped putting money behind him he went away.He didn't have the talent or charisma to be a star on his own

He was basically saying the same about Bryson Tiller and I agree

Yea Joe was talking real stupid on that star discussion. He couldn't really give a definite answer and just said "Reach". When AK asked him what did that entail Joe kept harping on music and talent when in this day and age isn't the end all be all. He obviously has an issue or dislike for Bryson and loves Tory. (The infamous Tory vs. Bryson clip of the podcast last year was hilarious). He simply can't separate his fandom to realize that Bryson IMO is a bigger star than Tory. I just don't see how that can even be disputed or question. His shying away from interviews and the public is what makes him even more of a star.

Budden did answer it but he let Ak get him off it. He said there are sliders. That's the right answer.
