LeBron takes away from the game of his talented teammates. See what happened to Chris Bosh, D-Wade, and Kevin Love.
Lonzo woulda made the jump to stardom this year if not for LeBron.

What's going to be your excuse if other players on the team perform next to LeBron? He's a rookie. He had a good season outside of his shooting. He was passing the ball, rebounding, and playing good defense. His shooting was just so bad it counteracted all the other good he was doing.
Great players typically make the jump from Year 1 to Year 2. I expected Lonzo to make that big leap this year but with LeBron joining the Lakers, that makes it unlikely.

It doesn't work like that. Great players are great everywhere they go; the cream always rises to the top. If Lonzo can't stand out from of a 32-year-old PG [Rondo] who is a handicap to every offense he's been a part of, then he was never going to be the player you thought he was. No amount of juelz'ng through basketball platitudes is going to save you here. Especially since you already took an L with this thread after last season.LeBron helps catch and shoot role players. Its why Josh Hart going off last night isn't a surprise. He's the type player which fits next to LeBron. Guys who can't really create their own shot and need someone else to hit them with passes. However, a guy like Lonzo needs the ball and is a creator. He's not an off-ball catch and shoot player. He's gonna struggle playing next to LeBron and Rondo cause he's similar to them as players.
Best thing for Lonzo is to get traded to another team. He'll reach his potential sooner elsewhere.

there is nothing to take away from bum Lonzo, he's syth with or without LeBronLeBron takes away from the game of his talented teammates. See what happened to Chris Bosh, D-Wade, and Kevin Love.

Shaddup cacWith alpha males like Jayson Tatum you are right. But Lonzo ain't built like that. Mentally he's like Lebron. He's a pass first guy who needs to be in the right situation to succeed. Look at how LeBron fell apart Year 1 at Miami when D-Wade didn't totally defer to him. LeBron was looking bytch made in the Finals. Then the following year D-Wade took at step back and LeBron returned to looking like himself.
Lonzo is soft. He ain't built like Kobe or Tatum. He ain't an alpha male go-to scorer. He's a passive pass first dude. He needs to be in the right situation to succeed. He ain't the type that can succeed regardless of the environment.
Too bad Kobe wasnt a killer or built like what people pretend him to be against Dallas. He looked bytch made in that series, very passive, deferred to Bynam of all people.
Martha
He was injured. Knee was giving him trouble that entire season. Did you forget the trip to Germany afterwards? And how he started looking like himself again in 2012-13 before the achilles injury?
Prime Kobe ended in 2009. He won the title in 2010 as a shell of himself. And he really wasn't the same after that outside of the post-Germany 2012-13 season when he looked like Prime Kobe once again.
Josh Hart was attacking the rim relentlessly the other night tho. He wasn't sitting back being a spot up shooter for Lebron.LeBron helps catch and shoot role players.
