Its funny y'all feel that way considering that if I looked online just 2 years ago everybody and their mama was praising the new breed rappers for not getting caught up in bullshyt beefs and having friendly relationships that fostered good music. The resurgence of hip hop art has been largely due to collabos that were off center. Y'all don't know what u want. When everyone was beefing it got stale now everyone is friends and same shyt.

What I like about his influence, as well as J. Cole, is that they let the music speak for itself. No gimmicks, no lame club tracks that copies the next wack rapper, and no overhype. They made their peers step it up lyrically.
