Everyone talks about the decline of quality Hip Hop, but what about White mainstream music?

Why do y’all think we don’t have new music like this anymore? Most of these songs from the 90s and early 2000s are objectively better IMO than today’s white pop music like Taylor Swift. I was thinking since a lot of these types of musicians dabbled in drugs, maybe many of the younger artists who would’ve followed up got hooked on opioids?

Facts. I also wonder if the rise of smartphones and social media played a role. People have fewer life experiences to draw from to create music.

i'm a sucker for the electric guitar though, you can find that at any time really. whether it's mainstream has never been my concern, cuz other than lit and green day i would probably skip that whole playlist or put on some morgan wallen or lady gaga instead
