“Found the hardest truth in life is that the truth ain’t told” :wow:
“Simply to state it best, I been tested. A couple left their marks. A couple left impressions...feeling that I never left. Every day dealings, demons don’t sleep and never rest.”

In my 30s that hits different

“my chord progressions go directions that are not for the norm”

It’s still amazing to me how Evidence stepped his game up, I used to have a hate love relationship with Dilates Peoples. Evidence pen has went up by 50x in the last decade and something changed about his flow. Last few projects have been fire

apparently he’s also already got 3 or 4 music videos already filmed and finished, on top of the one we got yesterday.

It’s dope that he puts so much effort in, and almost treats every song like its own album.

EV's first single pick record remains undisputed :wow:

Didn't love "Weather or Not", it had its moments but doesn't have the special factor "Cats and Dogs" and "Weatherman LP" had for me. He sounds energised again...
Not trying to force a discussion, but I get it. There's a lot on Weather or Not I like, but it's not nearly nearly as cohesive as his other albums. I think I even remember him saying he struggled real hard with sequencing that album because it was more of a collection of random songs he recorded over 7 years, and there was never one time-frame where he just was in the mood to work on an album all at once.

Cats & Dogs I think is the best blend of a cohesive album combined with his improved skills. Weatherman LP is dope, but I sept on it when it dropped, and it definitely holds up, but I still think he's a much better emcee now. @areohbee82 and me were just talking about how he's definitely moved way past the Mr Slow Flow style.

Layover EP is the big sleeper in his catalogue IMO.

His girl passed away from cancer around that time. I think that had some kind of factor to it.

:snoop: I’m sorry man. I copy pasted a super old Ev tag list and it’s from a long time ago. I’m updating it with everyone. You’re on it now.

Are there any other lists that you want to be on while I’m updating it?

No doubt. Thanks breh

Any artists you listen to is fine. I think we generally have the same taste in music
