Such a great opportunity to take a trip down the philosophical ideas of emotions and language.
It's quite boring to sit here and discuss the old biological vs theist view on love, no matter what side you take.
I just did a final paper on this very topic (not really the biological vs creation thing). It is one of the most complex things I have ever researched.
For example: love is the most selfish emotion a person can exhibit. It is impossible to love SOMEONE. You only love what that person does for you, can do for you, or what represents to you. You actually love the state of affairs of a person, not the person. It's wholeheartedly selfish in every sense of the word.

I'm not hip to the latest pop drugs, my man. We're talking about evolution, which is supposed to be natural and you're talking about altering natural things with drugs.
In other words, you're not explaining anything.
it's all in the same vein of "love" being a chemical reaction in the brain. you don't have to be into drugs to inform yourself. then again, religious folks think they've got it all figured out from birth.

I'd consider myself agnostic.
Your assumptions will lead you to false statements more often than true ones, this being a perfect example.
So who is it that thinks they know everything? I can assure you that you don't know everything and that's not assuming, like you, that's based off of all that you've posted.
I'm asking a simple question and you're getting defensive and your brain is now scrambled. Now you're trying to analyze the asker of the question as if that has anything to do with the answer.

So you're saying evolution has no explanation whatsoever for love? Like there's no such thing? There's this major part of the human experience called love and I'm asking you it's purpose in the evolution ideology.
So I understand sex from an evolutionist's viewpoint but I don't understand love. People don't just have sex, they usually have sex with someone they love or care about.
Yeah but people come in all shapes, sizes and colors too. Mike Tyson can beat the shyt outta you but the dorky kid McLovin, prolly not. Yao Ming is 7'5", Muggsy Bogues is 5'3".
We're all made up of atoms, no doubt, but when atoms are put together obviously they can do different shyt. And if I could jump off topic right quick, what about plants? I know their cells are different from animals, so are their ancestors the same as ours? If so, when did the split occur?
And now back on topic, another major difference between humans and other animals, the one this thread is about, is love. Animals have sex, no doubt. Do you think they fall in love? Dogs fukk anything with a hole. Humans consider this immoral. So why does evolution halt itself and not have me busting up in every fertile womb I come across?
Wouldn't that be good for the cause?

Like the fact that a house cat and a lion are different sizes unveils some hidden truth about the universe.
What does the fact that a pitbull and a chiwawa have different characteristics have to do with anything? Who cares?
Why would you bring up such a dumb point and then "be done" when I make an equally dumb point for the sole purpose of pointing out how dumb your original statement is? If you thought my comment was ridiculous now you know how I felt.
