You know with him wilding on interviews and eating Vaseline that he wasn't right in the head. It's a shame that Steph went out of the NBA the way he did and his story should be a lesson to cats like Kyrie. While you can be on top of he world today it can all be gone tomorrow if you don't take your craft seriously and work on your game. Steph had all the game in the world and his numbers were nice but he never got in on the court and is a major reason why his teams never has success until he left.

My brother used to play against Starbury at Riversdale Church (NYC heads knows about that).

I followed him from Lincoln High/Georgia Tech/Timberwolves/Nets/Suns/ to my Knickas. I was

over the moon when he came back home to play; until the dream deferred. I never forget that

first home Knicks game, when we got blown out on a hundred, thousand, trillion. His pops:rip: was

in the audience that night too. After that ETHER, there was whole lotta FUKKERY: Isiah fiasco, vaseline eating meltdown, and ultimately no-D'Antonio threw him in the bushes:scusthov:

...As cynical as I am, from the bottom of my heart I'm truly HAPPY Stephon got a second chance of glory. He has done alot for C.I Projects, without much fanfare:salute:

:mjcry:If marbury can recover to life, so can the franchise.

@houston911 @Soundwave @mastermind we cant let the Franchise go out like this. We got to get that man to play abroad. I still see game left in that mans eye. We cant let a basketball legend and college parks finest continue to go down this route:sadcam:
It ain't happening, breh :camby:

It ain't happening :mjcry:

Didn't they say that the movie "He Got Game" was loosely based off Stephon Marbury?

I heard that rumor when I was in HS

:ohhh:

I left one place where they was basically hating me. And I come to another place where they love me? I'm like, 'Why would I want to go back to a place where they hate me?'
might not be the same context, but....
I remember PAtrice O'Neal said, "I'm not a nikka no where else(in the world) except for America" :wow:

They probably love Steph over there and over here he'd just be "another black athlete"
