I truly don't understand this logic. These companies charge you $60 for a game but cutting out parts of the game or deliberately not finishing games completely so that they can milk more money out you. Yeah if you like the DLC then I guess pay for it, but I'm just not into getting fukked out of more money when I've already paid for something. And in almost all cases that I've seen, DLC is never worth the price they charge for it

For the lack of a better analogy right now, it's like paying for an ounce, only getting 3/4, but ya dude tell you if you like it then pay more for the other 1/4
This is wrong in a lot of cases

:yeshrug: breh, continue to buy your dlc. I'll continue selling these mediocre games when I'm done and on to the next one
You know there are games that have free DLC right?

Also, I'm sure people feel like The Witcher 3, Bloodborne etc are complete games and poured in over 100 hours into the retail games and don't have a damn problem buying the expansions/DLC for them.

What's your take on games like Killzone and Halo 5 offering all of their multiplayer maps for free via DLC?

:jbhmm:

@B86

The notion that all DLC comes out was stripped from an incomplete game is just not true.

I never said "all". I said almost all. And of course I don't mind "free". But regardless, I don't pay for shyt twice.

Bloodborne was the worst looking (art design), worst gameplay, worst hype I've seen this gen so far, btw

Whether it's complete or not the point is I'm not gonna keep dishing out money for the same shyt, just with a twist added. I'm not disagreeing with you about gta4 though.

Actually feel like GTA4 is an example of how DLC can be done right. Instead of adding to what is already established, why not build upon something else within that universe? Instead of dropping X guns and Y clothing, why not create something different that allows more creativity and use of ideas that may have been snubbed or wouldn't have worked out during development? And most importantly, make it feel like it's not just tacked on.
