It could be just depression. It's tough when you stop being a player. Being a star and not having any money issues. People underestimate that.

It's tough on people who played college ball but didn't make it to the NFL. I have a cousin who hasn't gotten over it in 30 years.

I used work with a former LB for my jags. That shyt burns when they have to get a job! Imagine playing in the 80s and 90s and only made maybe a few million...then you turn on the game and see scrubs getting a million per game! Some of those vets be hating like a mufukka. But I understand.

They always put it on cte but sometimes it's just plain old depression.

Breh, just imagine how it's gone sting for these college kids making 6 figures-millions and don't make the league. They done made the most they'll ever make before 22 and then gotta work a "regular job"

I really hope these schools will help them with that identity-shift
