Now he thinks he’s above the law now, as usual.
In Floyd v. City of New York, decided on August 12, 2013, US District Court Judge Shira Scheindlin ruled that stop and frisk had been used in an unconstitutional manner and directed the police to adopt a written policy to specify where such stops are authorized.

Under the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, a police officer may stop a suspect on the street and frisk him or her without probable cause to arrest, if the police officer has a reasonable suspicion that the person has committed, is committing, or is about to commit a crime and has a reasonable belief that the person "may be armed and presently dangerous.
- Of course, one wouldn’t know that listening to Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and other true believers, who insist that aggressive stop-and-frisks have reduced violent crime. But they’re wrong.

Its crazy that a so called progressive city like New York was involved in something so blatantly racist.
New York for all its diversity the people generally get along but institutionally and systematically its one of the most racist places in america underneath

DeBlasio really trotted out his biracial son and black wife as props. Why do Dems do this? I mean, I followed him on Twitter he seems genuine but I felt bad for him to cause he inherited the mess that Bloomberg & Giuliani created.

Nothing changed in NYC since he's been mayor...except gentrification got noticably worse to just fukking ridiculous levels. And the homeless problem got ten times worse.
:snoop:
Ptb making the cost of living unaffordable, increased qualification requirements, reduced resources, don’t get me started on the other disparaging tactics for ineligibility (criminal history, trespassing laws, income barriers, etc) ; purposely using strong arm tactics to remove, displace or discourage potential applicants from housing.

He's just running for President to check it off his bucket list. He isn't ever getting elected. Hopefully there is never another billionaire president.

Edit: Trump hasn't released his tax returns so can't definitively say there has been a billionaire president. :troll:

Facts. Chicago, Detroit, DC - any city that had a black mayor with majority black constituents

Yep, and gentrification is basically the result of greedy landlords and politicians who hated blacks as a whole. Giving all the prime land to white gentrifiers from the Midwest and South, and making housing damn near unattainable for blacks that lived there for generations.

Scumbag Piece of dog shyt.

The whole Giuliani/ Bloomberg administrations was the protest of :mjpls: NYers that hated David Dinkins. It was all fueled by hatred of black people.
If you never watched this, They do a gif breakdown of explaining the :mjpls:elements in Boston and how it goes down , which is a smaller microcosm of how the segregated areas of NYC were formed

And giving landlords damn near God-like power. You got c00ns that agree with them and they charging insane prices for a basic place to live.

instead of mobs, they use the police to do that to blacks and prevent black folk from living in *desirable* neighborhoods.

I respect Dinkins tremendously. The political establishment, the media, and the police gave that man pure hell in the 90s. Most of the successes that are attributed to Giuliani and to a lesser extent Bloomberg (reducing crime and affordable housing) are due to the Dinkins administration.

NYC is one of the most segregated cities in the country hands down. Its really on a “melting pot” if you are commuting to work from the boroughs to manhattan
