And has been fought and undermined since its onset...And when you bring up slavery to Jews, they will be quick to bring up their history of bondage............. which took place hundreds and thousands of years ago.
When the holocaust was over, Jews got their own land, and the backing of the united states (which at the time were still discriminating against us).
When slavery ended, the KKK was born, Jim Crow was born, and we were still lynched, murdered and shut out of economic and educational opportunities.
The Civil Rights Act is only 55 YEARS OLD!
Never mind slavery for a moment. There are thousands if not millions of black people in this country who were alive during segregation.
