No reason for elite pro athletes to push themselves to that level:mjlol:…It’s a complete hindrance to the goal of self persavation

Shouts out to Kobe godly work ethic but that man wasn’t perfect he didn’t have to do all that and we saw the effects of his body breaking down the last few yrs and his obvious frustration…
Yeah Goggins is an endurance athlete, Izzy is an mma fight. I dont know shyt but imo its just unnecessary mileage on his body.

Its just different sports

:what: Not true, Max Holloway has been doing both PPV main events and fight nights….that can be true for any fighter. Don’t be surprised if Izzy next fight is a PPV despite getting knocked out his last fight….
Is he fighting for a championship or to have someone else count his money?

Like I stated before I don't see him comning back. Once in reverse, hard to get back to drive.

Is David Goggins :mjpls:. Honest question.
From what I remember, he's better than most on that side.

He supported Black Lives Matter and discussed inter-personal and systemic racism.

I would imagine his limitations are going to be based on how he is with everything else - i.e. how much can you push past things.

All I’m saying is I’m not counting him out. Only fight he’s ever looked washed to me, was the Strickland fight…but my main argument is that he will always be a PPV caliber fighter, because he is still popular

He should have done less.

Rest and recovery isn’t weakness. It’s the necessary component for all training.
they weren't training for actual physical progress they were training for mental toughness and actually knowing what your limit is, a military guy doesn't know how to train a NBA athlete for basketball.... This is for those moments in the playoffs when you're hurting but have to fight through it, it's the reason he was able to walk after tearing his achilles and finish those free throws, etc.

i dont think kobe was doing that training his whole career obviously he prolly just picked his spots like Gil did

this.

I think Izzy did it to test his mental strength.

lock them in a cage and Izzy is the only one walking out of it. all that running to get put to sleep real quick.
