Ok you right he didn't tip his hand as i originally meant it but let's not act like he's making good on that original judgment because he decided to just give up or he had an attack of conscience. The article said they BOTH have appealed that judgment. If his side doesn't win on appeal that original ruling amount will still be there waiting on her so why pay it now?
He only paid it cuz he was advised by his lawyers to do so while they are trying to get the amount reduced to get her to bite. If she accepts it then her appeal more than likely gets rejected. He obviously doesn't believe his appeal will get the amount reduced and paying 1 billion >>>> paying 10 billion or any other number greater than 1.
They trying to get her to accept the original judgment by appealing to the inner coli nikka inside her.
