Exactly how is the Galaxy S3 Better Than iPhone 5?

Been an iPhone/Apple stan for a few years now. Currently have the iphone 4 and for the first time ever I'm thinking about giving android a shot with the Galaxy S3 after this horrible ios6 update. I always see a few people on here biggin up Droids over iPhones and supposedly the Galaxy s3 is the best droid out.

So exactly in what ways (For The Droid Heads) does the Galaxy S3 > iPhone 5 or Androids > iPhones in general?

Iphone 5 has a bigger screen than the tiny 4S screen but its still 20% smaller than the S3

im a past 4 year iphone user that switched to the s3 in june. im glad i did. you will see how strict an locked down the iphone is. iphone is great too, but if your into all kinds of different shyt like tethering, nintendo roms, etc that you can get with a jailbroken iPhone. you can get it out the box with droid. i run ice cream sandwich on mine an it is waaaaaaaay better than ios5 and an 6.

bigger screen, removable battery and sd card are my favorite things. it really is convenient. the camera is REALLY great and super fast on the s3. havent got into the NFC yet, but i want to get them nfc sticker tags. set em to do shyt like turn my alarms or play pandora when i get in my car by just scanning. it really is a great phone. jelly bean will be out next month too. and if your into rooting, the galaxy phones are made to root.

you cant go wrong either way, both great phones. but for the best bang for your buck the s3 does sooooo much more. the 5 to me is more like a 4S+ nothing really stands out to me that would make me change over again.

Yeah for me something as simple as having parts you can actually switch out or replace if necessary and easy universal ports has always been the difference-maker. Never liked that you're just "sealed in" with your Apple device and you have to take it their store and pay a premium if you want to change anything Now the 5 has another separate port from even their old one and if you want to use your old adapters you have to buy another conversion accessory Going the wrong direction with that one

thats apple for you. I'm glad they made a smaller adapter and will be better for the long run, but at the prices for the adapters to make your old stuff compatible with the new plug. its nearly the same size as a micro usb, why not just go with a micro usb?? $$$$$ just another overpriced thing apple wants you to buy that they control.

I switched to the 4S last year. Prior to that I had the OG Droid, Droid Incredible, the Nexus S, and the Galaxy Nexus before making the switch. With Android phones, I always found myself sending them back to my carrier because they would start acting buggy, touch screen would lag, battery issues, etc.

I'm not a fan of all these crazy UIs over stock Android (not a fan of Sense, Motoblur, fukkking hate Samsungs Touchwiz)

The problems with the Nexus line....the specs never add up. Stock Android to me is awesome...but everything is is middle of the road.

HTC, Motorola, Samsungs....I already stated how I felt about their UIs....but all the carrier bloatware that comes on those things...ehh

A true match for an iPhone......stock Android+ high end specs like the S3...you would think they would have figured this out by now
