1. I spoke with my folks. Both of them have stellar credit score. 820+
They put me as an authorized user in their credit cards
2. I opened two primaries; self and grain
3. I negotiated and paid all my debt.
4. Lastly, got two secured credit cards. One from my bank and one from capital one
truth stings doesn’t it. 750+ credit score gang

650 wil get you approved for most things.
720 will usually secure you the top rates.
Above and beyond that is just for your ego.
So I might as well wait for that 700s huh?
Credit Gurus, my credit was in the gutter and I’ve been working on it like crazy and it’s finally picking up.
A month ago I was at 459
This morning these were my scores:
Transunion 665
Equifax 639
Experian 557
I am not interested in a bank credit card yet; so far I’m working with secured credit card and I’m happy with them until I’m confident enough to request for unsecured credit card.
........but I would like to apply for Nordstrom Store Card. They do a soft pull on credit history and it requires 640+ to qualify (According to Google).
What are the chances I can get approved for a store card even though my experian score is below 640.

1. Dispute everything on ya credit except federal loans
2. Get 2 $200 secured cards (unnecessary to put down any higher for a secured card when ur building ur credit)
My suggestions:
Discover One, some of the best interest rates and rewards and no annual fees which is rare for secured cards.
Navy Federal is THE best credit union, IMO has the best secured card on the planet. Besides Discover and Capital One, also have some of the lowest interest rates. Consistent 3 month credit increases after you graduate your secured after 6 months and also some of the highest credit line limits (if you’re looking for that sort of thing). Best rates on auto, personal and mortgage loans.
You wanna build credit quickly and build a relationship with a dope bank apply right now my g, don’t sleep on Navy Fed
It took only 3-4 months to get my credit from poor to 700+ And now I’m 770.
Don’t think about store credit cards until you have graduated all of your secured cards to unsecured. Pay your cards off on time, keep your credit utilization below 30%, aim for <10% if u really wanna see some gains.
like some one said when once credit is good, apply for a auto loan w/ Navy Federalbeing able to go into any dealer without having to using the dealers financing is one of the GOAT feelings. Don’t have anyone do hard pulls on your credit unless ur applying for cards, credit increases or loans and just keep building.
How does you score be 400 anything?
I filed bankruptcy before and my shyt was still in the upper 600s![]()
My first question for you would be, “why do you need a Nordstrom store card?”.Credit Gurus, my credit was in the gutter and I’ve been working on it like crazy and it’s finally picking up.

In 2016, I got into an accident that left me injured and I ended up losing my job. Car was a write off but still had to make payments, bro.
Expenses (bills) were still there but income wasn’t there. Left a breh
Good news though....just paid it off on Thursday. The whole car loan after we came to an agreement with the bank. I owed $5250 and they said they would settle for $3000 and delete it from my credit report.
