It’s really a disguised cover 3.

The way defenses have made up for hook zone linebackers inability to look behind them by using a safety playing “X” factor and running downhill :wow:

Modern NFL defenses are just :banderas:

The running game has to come back.

This.

People are convinced that "today's QBs just sucks" but thats an over simplification.

Theyre facing defensive schemes that are relying more on disguised looks.

It's why Spagnolou was such a huge get for the Chiefs. His ability to confuse Allen and Burrow in crucial moments helped them narrowly escape those playoff games.

You're also seeing QBs like Rodgers and Wilson struggle a lot because their mobility isnt as great, and so their ability to read an analyze disguised defenses is also getting exposed

Running backs about to start getting paid more than wide receivers like they used to, that's why the Bills drop 30 every game they switched it up to a run first team

We’re also dealing with the “hybridization” of athletes.

Your three technique on the edge can drop into coverage and run a 4.6

Your corner can fit in the run game

Linebackers can blitz or cover

So even with pre snap reads on player location and tendencies, QBs are often wrong when guessing what individual players are going to do based on the physical capabilities

It's the hybridization of DBs that's most remarkable.

Kris Humphrey can go from FS/Nickle/LB.

Caleb out of OSU is going to change the game. :wow:

These guys are different.
