As we are halfway through the 2020s, my biggest gripe concerning tv shows is the overkill amount of profanity that kills the vibe.

For instance, Mayor of Kingston (good show btw), each word is "fukk" :why: . Like I get it, Paramount plus, but the shyt spreads on regular cable television like obnoxiously.

It feels forced and unneeded :francis: . We came a long way from corny substitutes for curse words, but good grief less is more :why:

What kinda Gen z ass thread is this?

Breh trust, I like potty mouth like any other dude but every second "fukk fukk fukk fukk"

It becomes redundant.

if I have a Time Machine…. I’d kidnap TIK

Lock him in a cage And make his sit in an Andrew Dice Clay live comedy set :steviej:

with nothing to eat but Fig Newtons and a couple bottles of water:steviej:

Agreed. The way they cursed in Power Book 2, you would've thought each f bomb opened up the budget more or something.
Tariq: "What the fukk Brayden, I thought I fukking told you to fukking stop doing that shyt!"

Brayden: "Dude! I fukking hate it when you fukking repeat shyt to me like I'm fukking stupid!"

It doesn't bother me but because of Kingstown, I had to check if Michigan folks really do swear like that. Might have to give that show a pass because they're in the top ten of the most profane states. :mjlol:
