I want to get hyped but the last time both guys had the book we got ECW 2006 and TNA 2010. Hopefully they've learned from their mistakes.

Ecw 2006 was actually good tho given what they had to work with at the time.

Eric Bischoff’s being hired by WWE to be the Executive Director of Smackdown was reportedly as surprising to FOX as it was to everyone else. On today’s Wrestling Observer Live, Dave Meltzer discussed the situation and said that people at FOX “had no idea this was coming and wanted the other guy,” meaning the new Raw Executive Director Paul Heyman.

Meltzer went on to say that while Heyman’s appointment is not surprising or something people are complaining about, there is a lot of surprise over Bischoff’s announcement. He noted that people who were once in TNA and are now in WWE are “baffled” and “can’t even believe it, because how can someone be so out of touch” as Vince McMahon in terms of bringing in Bischoff, who hasn’t been involved in the creative side of wrestling in several years now and didn’t help TNA much.

if they gonna have one guy running raw and one running smackdown then they need a legit brand split.

they should do a shoot re-draft of the rosters.

give smackdown a completely different look from raw too

100% they need to get rid of the wildcard, thats a band aide when in actuality they need to get surgery on these shows.. The problem with Vince is Raw is his baby and he wants it ran in a way that appeases his way.. But at the same time he is so insecure he wont let SD be great, while being ran completely different from raw.. I dont get it, its all the same money.. The only way this works if they let SD be whatever Bischoff wants it to be and if the fans like it more so be it

Get Graves off both shows, that shyt is beyond stupid, they are so scared of letting one show have its own identity, yet they wonder why both shows are failing. lets hope this forces Vince to let change happen

The last point is a good one, man. As much as this excites me as new and different, it really does show how wwe needs new blood rather than trying to tap into veins they already explored.

The difference is Heyman, actually has his ears to the streets per say, he runs a think tank on his spare time, he may not have the answers sway, but he knows where to go to get them.. I think that and the fact that I have heard him talk on austins podcast multiple times and him and austin be saying the same shyt we do, so either he will be good or all of us are wrong and dont know whats "best for business"

I see the njpw logo on the first pic so I can already tell you njpw isn't really character driven which is what WWE programming is.

The other two probably don't even know what to do with a major Network timeslot.
