Lol. Why would I be mad? You're clearly one of them bummy nikkas.

Places like UO, Abercrombie, Ralph Lauren, etc. hiring processes are really predicated by looks/physique and style. Having someone think you work there actually is kind of a compliment to your personal features. Way different than being mistaken for a k-Mart employee lol

So I cant stay fly and dress nice? I'm sorry to offend your 8X white tee and airforce ensemble, killa. :comeon:

Obviously you cant read well - it happens no matter what you wear.
Yeah, I wear suits (nicely tailored ones) the majority of time I'm out. I get catered to and treated with the upmost respect. Anywhere I walk into, be it the Mac Store, a Bentley dealership, a high-end luxury retailer or even regular ass Walgreens people treat me like I'm worth selling to. I get to cut in line and use bathrooms marked EMPLOYEES ONLY on the reg. It's great. I never asked for help.

Now, when I'm in a T-shirt and some shorts I do get hella profiled as I'm a youngish looking black male, but I'm never asked for help. I think it's my stately beard and generally unwelcoming demeanor that keeps people at bay. Oh, and I'm always on my iPhone. That probably cuts down on the BS.

WTF are you bums doing shopping at the mall anyway? It's 2012. Brick and mortar shopping is for scrubs, suckers and chumps.

:pachaha:

I like the reinvented Nigerian.
Reinvented? What's different?

Perhaps you only recently just realized that I'm a pretty incredible person.

Happened before when I was younger. Stopped by Banana Republic after work a few times and had my work clothes on (slacks, buttoned shirt, nice shoes) and I've been asked by customers if I could help them.

Depending on who asked, I'd be :shaq: if she was a prospect.

Times when dudes or older ladies ask me, I'd be like, "okay, I'll check in the back and see if we got your size"... and then just walk out of the store. They'd be like :dwillhuh:

Only time this has happened to me was when I came up to my workplace off the clock just visiting with casual clothes on.

I'm actually a Pharmacy Tech but they thought I was the regular store clerk.:manny:
