I saw dan Hardy’s breakdown with his girlfriend (ufc fighter) Veronica Macedo, she said Gane repeatedly hit Francis in sparring and she picked him to finish Francis in the 4th. (Surprised she spoke that freely, true or not)

last I saw Francis was the favorite -165, now he’s the underdog +130 :dahell:

it’s not like team sports where someone goes on the injured list and the odds change

I think they got a massive one on Cyril and changed it all right there

I’ll have a bet for the champ, I don’t see how Cyril avoids getting nuked.

and I’ll repeat my bet of Moreno.

2 most recent trilogies: conor/dustin, stipe/DC

part 3 has a similar result to part 2

I just hope moreno pushed some of that heavy media aside and focused, like fig has been doing.

Outside of those two fights this card is awful, especially since they took a big break and followed up with a bad card for their first of the year, you’d think some names were waiting to fight

I’m rolling with francis definitely a tough matchup cause gane has great footwork and moves well deadly with the legs and hands might not be one punch power but he can hit.

The rematch trilogy idk still a toss up cause both fighters can be caught I think this third fight will go to the cards. I got Moreno though.

Win win main event, not a huge fan of the forced beef there but whoever wins is good with me.
Gane's got hella buzz in France, keep seeing ads and poster for the fight and interviews with french media, even my friends are hitting me up, probably helps that he's a heavyweight too. I've been harassing one of my friends about Ngannou since the predator braids version so he's up on game too.

I'm sure regardless of the outcome we'll get a rematch, the division doesn't have that many interesting match-ups and Ngannou showed he can be technical and adjust against Stipe.

Hoping Moreno wins against Deiveson again, Dude just seems like a straight up good guy and he's a boxer that works the body which automatically makes him more entertaining than half the strikers on the roster.

Rest of the card is fukking ass though especially with a main event that should have a big European/French audience that's gonna have to stay up till 5AM to see the big fight.

Gane about to lose a few years off his life. I don't see him knocking Francis out or surviving for 25 minutes.
And I don't care for the co-main Figgy should have fought his way back, UFC making trilogy's trash. This whole card is trash

Dana White is seriously hoping Francis loses because he is campaigning for higher pay and this is his last fight on his contract, you know that cac doesn't want him to set a precedence for other champions.

Gane can definitely knock Francis out. He is still a world class heavyweight kickboxer at the end of the day.

This is a 50/50 fight if there ever was one, but you'd have to give the slight edge to Gane because he's more likely to eke out the decision win than Francis who has all of his wins by finishes.

That said, I don't mind either fighter winning. Even if Francis wins, Gane is still likely to be champ at some point. But I like Ngannou's present storyline. In an ideal world he beats Gane, and Derrick Lewis beats Tai to set up a rematch with Francis. He beats Lewis and then retires as champ to focus on boxing.

From all indications though, he seems to want to go ahead an pursue boxing unless he can renegotiate his contract. On a fight level it's really hard to see how this one pans out. We know all of their strengths and weaknesses. But when you have guys this skilled who both have knockout power, it becomes harder to predict. A pure kickboxing bout probably favors Gane. So if it stays in kickboxing range, he has the advantage. If it stays in boxing range, then Francis has the advantage. Francis will probably fight in spurts with blitzes. Gane will try to out-point and counter and hope to catch Francis coming in. If it doesn't end early then it could end up being a boring one if both respect eachother too much.
