You could make plenty for yourself at home....if we're talking grams and 8 balls, but even then, just too much work to extract and cook. Its takes 600 kilograms of leaves to make 1 gram of coke....thats just too ridiculous to do at home. The extraction process is simple and can go unnoticed, the yield however, isn't worth an entire room of leaves.

US has a shytload of land but it's mostly west of the Mississippi and probably lacks the climate needed to grow the coca leaves.
Now if we assume the climate is OK.....you could definitely grow it. All those Hawaiian islands (Maui, Molokai, Big Island etc)....gotta imagine some of the less populated ones could be used for it. Hell the founder of Oracle, Larry Ellison owns like 90%+ of Lana'i.

(It's the word for synthesizing plant-derived chemicals without the plant) but there's a problem, any method you use to produce cocaine would make two types (they both have the same chemical structure but one is mirrored ), so in order to get the right type of "making you high" cocaine you gotta figure out how to get the right mirror shape and with the government frowning very very heavily
on this type of research so you're not gonna get far
