Be around people and become someone that truly understand and study words/their meanings.
Truthfully that's the single most important thing. Even basic words. What does Power mean? What does Pathology mean? Then you learn a lot of words are combinations of words psycho-path, socio-path etc.

I think what we get from hip hop is perspective. We use what we get outside of hip hop to make hip hop better. tow of my top three, 3000 & Lu for example you can tell are taking experiences outside of the genre to enrich their artwork in different ways. You can tell 3 Thou takes wisdom and shyt passed on to him through life and makes it palatable while Lu you can tell reads excellent writers in order to craft his writings. You can just see it.

dicitionary is the obvious choice but read books any book and write every multisyllablic word u see u find from the books u read.

oh online dictionarys are good as well.

Grab your high school english vocabulary books. Trust me. There's a lot of words in there you won't normally hear in today's music and are rare. Plus the print is nice and big.
