I see people popping off in the comments section on the video. I always see someone mention that they release a game every year. It seems to me people automatically equate that with failure....maybe because of Madden, I don't know but I'd have a problem if every year the games were bad. Each Creed game they put out seems to get bigger in scale and be better than the game before it. People just complain to complain.
How so? Every game increased in scale and added gameplay features. What more do you want from a game? If that game hadn't been released for 3 years and then they released a new AC 3 what would have been so different? If AC 3 is stale then just about every sequel released today is stale.that didn't happen with assassin's creed. the series got stale.
same thing CoD.
same thing with Halo/Gears (they purposely traded off each year)
I don't think it is bad in itself. But for me personally, I'm definitely going to lose interest. I didn't see anything in Assassin's Creed games past Brotherhood that made me think I have to get a new one. I'm generally just going to lose interest in an annual franchise because it's basically going to be the same game, on the same engine with two alternating sets of development teams sold at the usual $60. I like how Uncharted got to 2 (which was not just "bigger scale" but, was leaps and bounds better than 1 and added multiplayer) and the team already felt compelled to work on something else. They still did U3 ofc, but there's something to be said there.I see people popping off in the comments section on the video. I always see someone mention that they release a game every year. Yeah but you can't just make that argument then throwaday UC3 which was universally seen as a step back. If waiting a couple of years to release a game makes the game better then UC3 should have been the greatest game ever created because UC2 was fire. If you don't like A Creed or tired of playing every year....fine, just wait an extra year to play the game, I just hate seeing people saying...."Oh...it comes out every year so its bad...." Annual release doesn't equal bad. Some games can do it and some can't. If COD's multiplayer isn't good one year I don't feel its because people are tired of playing it, maybe some design elements were wrong that time but the time frame in which it was released doesn't automatically make it bad. Thats really the only point I'm making and yes, I do know that COD alternates dev teams each year.I don't think it is bad in itself. But for me personally, I'm definitely going to lose interest. Unless that title was called Grand Theft Auto V, you are probably doing yourself the disservice.watch dogs already got thrown in the bushes for that other game. already forgot the title![]()
UC3 was a step back because they were focusing on TLOU. TLOU basically is considered one of the best games ever.Yeah but you can't just make that argument then throwaday UC3 which was universally seen as a step back. Show me a link man. I'm sure ND has more than one dev team.UC3 was a step back because they were focusing on TLOU. TLOU basically is considered one of the best games ever.

That's conjecture but it's certainly not unfounded. They do have multiple teams. Do you think the better team got to make Uncharted 3 or TLOU? I think it's clear which game got more resources.Show me a link man. I'm sure ND has more than one dev team.
