Explain Inversion to me in TENET because I respectfully turned it off after 10 minutes

I think it was good but this is the first film I just couldn't understand

Basically: anything that passed through one of the turnstiles starts "interpreting" time backwards in the same space.

..I think another way to think of it is that inversion is "time traveling" backwards at the same speed we currently "travel" forward

Yeah I saw it explained this way.

Set the turnstyle to 12/21/2020 9:59AM and when you exit the turnstyle, your body is still experiencing time as normal so you're still aging as you head from 12/22/2020 10:02 to 12/21/2020 9:59AM and watching everything invert to that set time.

It would make more sense if it was done better. Nolan is turning into a typical cac that is allowed to fail upwards. The Inversion in Tenet had several plot holes and fukk ups so the more you pay attention, the more shyt you noticed they fukked up on with inversion.

So maybe it doesnt make sense to you because you dont understand it. But it also doesnt make sense when you understand it perfectly because certain things shouldnt have happened the way they did by their own logic. He broke his own laws of perverted physics.

I noticed a lot of questionable things myself. But then I wasn't sure if it was done purposely or not. The film is meant to be a mind fukk when in reality it is just bad writing.
