Every guest on Charge It 2 Da Game >>>>> Silkk on that album. Kendrick wasn't "renegaded". Made Man is wack (3-5 songs out of the 19-20 were good/listenable). Same goes for My World, My Way. I never listened to that last Silkk album, which leaves The Shocker album as the only album in which Silkk was consistently good and wasn't overshadowed by the guests.
That being said, Kendrick >>>>>>>. I still listen to Charge It 2 Da Game to this day, but as a rapper, Silkk wasn't all that great and I find myself waiting for Mystikal, C-Murder, Mia X, and Master P or whoever is featured to rhyme. Beats By The Pound gave him some of their best production, which made Silkk listenable and hid his deficiencies as a rapper. Still, I think "Give Me The World" and "Who Can I Trust" were dope solo Silkk songs.

until then, i'll say this, he was a more polished rapper and turned into somewhat of an emcee cira '99. a southern punchline pioneer. he never gets credit for it.
