Future is garbage. i thought i liked his first album but then i re-listened and forgot me memory. then he started dikkriding every relevant rapper, you know, Wayne, Ross, all them garbo fukkos. anytime you cosign the superfriends (Drake, Wayne, Ross, etc.), i don't fukk with your music anymore.
i remember when Tony Montana dropped.. yeah some new fakkit young kids thought the beat hit hard, but most people thought it was fukking trash and couldn't understand what he was saying..
now all of a sudden, 5 years later, with the same exact style, its fire every time?
there are some rare outliers, but what i can tell you, is that, the actual classics of hip hop history, were not dropped consecutively every month. you can't make classic art that quick, back to back.

the worst part about this Future hype, might just be how many fukkboy new artists are jacking the style and running with it. 90% of popular rap is just fakkits mumbling over trap beats now.

That's the thing though, nowadays they don't even want classic music anymore. They just want something that's LIT and forgettable, at which point they move onto the next song that's LIT in the moment. And then if it's decided by the sheep that Future and the super friends are not LIT any longer, the sheep will collectively decide who the next LIT artist will be. Although, by then using the word LIT may not even be the LIT thing do anymore. So they'll have to find a new artist to listen to and a new cool word to describe him.

Glad that you noticed. Black kids nowadays don't have access to actual instruments, and outside the church that few people attend anymore, black voices and talent is being stunted in growth. It's all about technology and fruity loops and autotune now.
Maybe this was by design, but without knowledge of music, you gonna have these cats being claimed the GOAT that can't spit freestyles for shyt, or even rap on boom bap beats to hone their lyrical skills.
