explain to me why Kansas doesnt just take Wichita St. coach

He wouldn't even be on their top 3-5 coaches list if Self leaves or gets fired from what I know.

because he's not the recruiter self is....yea, having the name kansas on the front helps, but the coach needs to be able to close the deal to bring those type of players there....

also, it might be on him...maybe he doesn't want to leave the smaller school...expectations change once go to a bigger, more established school....maybe he doesn't want to deal with that and is happy being a big fish in a lil pond...

:sadcam: His buyout is ridiculous, its like 10.6 million to buy him out this year and like just under 8 million after next season. We are going to be stuck with him a while longer.
