I dont see how this works.
We all know lebrons game. He excels with guys that can shoot outside at a high clip. That gives him opportunity to take it to the rack and kick it out or lay it in.
These guys just clog the lane . This is why greg oden didnt work on the heat and shaq on the cavs.
He also needs someone that can run the floor on fast breaks.
Clog the lane?
Covington shoot 7 threes/game at a 37% clip, Saric shoot 5 threes/game at a 38% clip, Embiid shoot 3 threes/game at a 31% clip, and Lebron himself shoot 5 threes/game at a 36% clip. That's 20 threes/game already off the starting lineup alone, and then you have Bayless, Luwawa, McConnell, Anderson, and maybe Fultz who can all hit the three off the bench too.
And way to use

Shaq and

Oden as your examples of who can't work with Lebron. They were a combined 76 years old by the time they played with Lebron, neither one was gonna work with anyone at that point.
Lebron won a chip with Chalmers, Wade, Bosh (before he shot threes) and Joel Anthony starting. Even when you throw in significant minutes from Battier and the occasional Mike Miller appearance (but also Haslem), this Sixers team would shoot MUCH better than than Miami team.
He also was able to make a Finals appearance work with Delly, Shump, TT, and Mosgov starting. Those four couldn't hit a freaking barn.
I think Lebron will have to adjust his game as he gets older. One of those adjustments will be starting out with the ball on top of the key less, and instead bullying guys down low in the post more, and another will be getting open off-ball for a three more (those sets were great for the Heat). If he lets Simmons take the ballhandling role, and he becomes a post threat and a three-point threat, that lineup would be incredible. Embiid and Lebron could create huge matchup problems on either side of the key, anyone big enough to guard either one of them down low might struggle to stay with them when they float outside for three, teams that doubled one of them would then risk leaving Covington or Saric open for a three, and Simmons would just be driving through all of it finding the openings and creating chaos.
Low-key secret is that it easier to find the open man when you tall. You see the floor better, can zip passes over guys easier.
You know how easy the open guys and mismatches would be to find if you and ALL your teammates are 6'10" or so?
