Explain why people dont consider certain players soft?

Tim Duncan has never raised a hand in anger at anyone, but he's not considered soft. Lamarcus Aldridge is a quiet n1gga that cant even get 10rebs consistently, but not considered soft. Dirk never laid hands on nobody, not really considered soft. Bron and Kobe are both bishmade, but nobody calls them soft. And nobody.really tries to bully any of these guys. I just dont get why Blake Griffin became the hoe that gets passed around and punked. Even that Dudley n1gga stepped to him.

If Blake's brother was worth a damn, he'd find where ZBo lays his head, and hit him over the head with a baseball bat, so Blake don't have to go thru that.

Dirk WAS considered soft, but that title run changed all that.
The Mavs were America's team for those 2 weeks.

I think Blake's flopping probably doesnt endear him to other players, especially given his size/strength. Not to menion him dunking on everyone....they want to get at him some kinda way.

What does laying hands on people got to do with anything? Just because you lay hands on people doesn't mean you're not soft.

LeBron is soft because you can get into his head mentally and he cowers.

soft has nothing to do with how demonstrative you are...Duncan has never raised his hand to hit anybody but he been down there battling in the paint and posterizing 7 ft men his entire carrer...a soft person could never do that...

Consequently Dirk was soft because he ran from all sorts of contact...he reached the zenith of softness when they lost to the warriors in the first round...the warriors barely sneaked in, were coached by Don "what's defense" Nelson, where statistically one of the worst defensive teams in recent memory...yet dirk let capt jack, jason richardson, and...baron davis shove him around on defense and just completely went into a shell...he was the quintessential scared white guy surrounded by a bunch of nikkas...

Now to me, it wasn't the championship that shed his soft label...it was this



Dirk basically chokeslammed duke...and when i saw that i instantly said "aight now dirk is down to do whatever to win"...and he became a member of duckbutta mighty #teamnotsoft

Kobe is prolly the toughest dude in the league when it comes to playing with pain. Sure he can't fight but toughness is more about style of play than physical strength or fighting ability.

Also winning cures the soft label. Duncan was never soft cause he been winning titles since he came into the league. Bron plays a very physical style considering all he does is rummage into the lane every play so he can't be considered soft.

Dudes who are soft are those that avoid contact, dance around the perimeter, and haven't won (except Pau whose the quintessential soft player no matter how many titles he wins).
