LOL, who said Dr Umar introduced me or anyone on this forum to Pan Africanism, that's all assumption. He wants to open up a Pan African school, what is the problem? Also just because Dr Umar has supporters does not minimize Nkrumah or Garvey Is he not going to teach science in the school, i'm sure he is?

Is this supposed to be like a pan-african boarding school? Morehouse for K-12?

Cause there won't be any public funding for this.

Let me ask, what exactly does this Dr. Umar provide you that you can't provide yourself as a Pan Africanist thinker? More power to him if he wants to open up a school, its Pan African schools in DC that are pretty cool. But like I said, I'd rather educate myself with the words and thoughts of real Black Nationalism/Pan Africanism heavyweights, the umars and tariq's of the world don't impress me.

I refuse to attack him because he does want to give education back to blacks, which is a major step in the right direction; however, I am interested in seeing how he plans on expanding the school and if he can get more onboard so that it can become a significant creation in the country. I'm not a fan of his religious ideas or pan-Africanist solutions to racial oppression (Pan-Africanism has great ideas, but the solutions negate the political economy as causation), but I respect his passion for black progress and power;

I'm not clinging on to anything because I never rode that wave to begin with. Like I said, more power to him for trying to open that school. I already said my issue with dude, I can educate my damn self and form my beliefs I don't need somebody to hold my hand.
