I think I'm at the stage of my life where I'm questioning the very concept of relationships

The fact that you have to commit for the rest of your life and always start from ground zero at the end of a relationship, or else the relationship didnt matter at all.

Don't feel ashamed about this. Wait till you find out that monogamy is really not that old. I've always had theory that the reason monogamy was put into practice was so beta male men could pass off their genes to have a legacy. The guys that were Kings and alphas didn't have a problem getting women so they never had to worry about passing their genes off ...plenty of women WANTED to have their babies.

See what this people dont understand is that feminism threw a monkey ranch in a LOT of shyt. See now these women are getting money and they don't need a man as a provider . What that does is it allows them to go after the men they really want and really want to have sex with. Feminism told women they can be and do everything like a man from sex to getting paid equally or better than a man.

What that did thoe is for men they aren't getting married at the same rate as they used to. That's good to some people but bad for some as well. I'm currently doing my own research on on this topic and reading some books on it as well. I got out of a 5yr relationship a year and a half ago and personally I don't want to put that much energy into another relationship but I no longer want to be monogamous . Unlike everybody else it want be no complaining out of me I'll figure it .

Personally the last 5 years I stopped thinking with my heart and started thinking with my brain. Evaluating partners logically vs emotionally. Going with the woman who I feel is best for me long term based on looks, career, mentality and financial stability

I think the basic universal principle to follow is you're free to pursue whatever kind of social arrangement that makes you happy (monogamous, open, polygamous, whatever). Some styles work better for others depending on what you want out of life.

Just be clear and upfront about it with whoever you dealing with so they can fully decide whether or not they on board with that.

When you trying to keep one partner believing its strictly monogamous between the two of yall while you outside playing open is where unnecessary problems come in. At the end of the day just be up front about what you want and let ppl choose to rock with it or not

Most times that's basically all it is. Brehs still wanting to play the field and keep options open while keeping a broad at home believing it's just you and her.
