A few years ago, I saw someone on FB pretending to be a black kid I knew from a sneaker forum. I thought it was weird to see him promoting Trump under a different first/last name.
It’s a pervasive problem and I’m sure it’s far more widespread than we can appreciate right now.

Very common. I read Bishop Talbert Swans twitter, he gets these everyday. Always conservative, evangelical and begin their sentences with I am a black man....idk the endgame. They don't fool Black people

When the alt-right core started gettign called out on their racism and sexism, some of their defenders (whether alt-right or games) started using "Not your shield" to deflect that criticism.
