If Kanye were to sell Good Music tomorrow to Def Jam in exchange for HIS Masters then that would simply be business.
And he would with the quickness, but it seems like they only care about Sean and Pusha, both of who, I think, have deals outside of just good currently.
I've been saying for a min that I think Sean is basically one foot out the door already, especially after signing with roc nation for management who is basically known for getting artists out of shyt deals in return for a management signing or a separate one with the parent company. I also truly believe that when Sean does leave, there's gonna be a lot of dirty details both of them can lay out about each other (ghostwriting/producing, payments, promotion, etc)
I also think it's why ye was quick to give pusha that president position, that after all this time, has proven to be nothing but a title since he still doesn't have control over his own music (according to him scrapping an entire album because of ye and limiting Daytona just for ye) nor the artists he signs (according to desiigner and all of the issues he had). Just seems like an easy way to help get more money in the pockets of the artist that fights your beefs.
I wish teyana would speak out about this because that would be the deciding factor for me. We all know ye screwed her over to the point where people were recommending she audits Ye and the label to see where her budget actually went.
As much as ye likes to play victim, I'm positive he's just as guilty when it comes to his artists and collaborators. I forget which album it was, but a recently album had a slew of complaints from people that worked on for not being paid, credited, having their work messed with, etc.
