At the start of Tuesday night's WWE SmackDown tapings from Nashville, Tennessee, WWE COO Triple H opened the show and announced that Evolution (he, Randy Orton and Batista) will battle The Shield at Extreme Rules. With that match set, here's the updated card:

6-Man Tag Match:Evolution (Triple H, Randy Orton & Batista) vs. The Shield

Steel Cage Match:
John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt

Divas Championship:
Paige (c) vs. Tamina

Intercontinental Championship:Big E (c) vs. Tournament Winner
:whew: business is about to pick up
- WWE's decision to hold a tournament to determine the #1 contender to Big E's Intercontinental Championship was made the day of the show. The original plan was for Christian to be named the #1 contender, but he has not been medically cleared to wrestle.
thank the fukkin' old gods and the new for that one
As noted earlier, WWE Superstar Darren Young successfully underwent ACL surgery on his left knee. WWE.com now reports that the former Prime Time Player will be out of action for 4-6 months while he recovers and rehabilitates the injury.
think it's safe to say no new nation plans
