PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view will be held on May 4 at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J. Tickets for the event will go on sale on Feb. 22, with the pre-sale occurring just beforehand.

This is an update to the reports that there was a possibility that Daniel Bryan could be receiving a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at the event, which had been rumored to be held in his home state of Washington. Word began circulating that Bryan would be in line to face Triple H at WrestleMania, with a win giving him a title shot at Extreme Rules with a home crowd.

Last week, Key Arena officials in Seattle denied that the event would be held there, which now appears true. While the Bryan reports had merely been rumors, it is unconfirmed at this time as to whether the location change will have any effect on future plans.

It's booked on the official site too http://www.meadowlands.com/

This is 1997 levels of changing plans in Wrestlemania season :dwillhuh:

:russ: these fukking sheets man, how the fukk can there be a location change if nobody knew where it was being held?

They're tailoring this shyt to nerds by hinting that WWE booked Seattle then changed it because of Bryan :dead:

Good point.

Were did they get the idea that ER was in Seattle though? Meltzer was completely confident (no double talk at all) about the PPV being held at the Key Arena, that rarely happens unless he's sure as fukk something will happen. Weird shyt.
