he should've been in a tag team with cesaro, under heyman. they'd fill in the time between brock appearances, and he wouldn't have to talk much for a long time

plus that team :banderas:

you know? its funny, i really do think a lot of the indy guys from around 00's got their moves from wrestling games.

You just reminded me of the time I was messing around with No Mercy and found Brock's F5 deep in the move list.
I made a (not so good) Brock CAW with the quickness.

KENTA from an interview back in 2011:

http://allwrestling.com/news/37338/cm-punk-accused-stealing-wrestling/

In a new interview with The Daily Star, KENTA, of Pro Wrestling NOAH, had the following to say concerning WWE star CMPunk: "Please list him on the wanted list as he stole my move."

Apparently, Punk has been a big fan of KENTA and has studied his wrestling for years. Which has led him to utilize some of his moves—one of which is Punk's finisher the "Go To Sleep."

This debate has been ongoing among hardcore wrestling fans and now it has come to light as KENTA has noticed the similarities. Hopefully, Punk will have some sort of retort as many WWE wrestlers have been accused of stealing other wrestlers' finishers.

The most recent was Michelle McCool using AJ Styles' finisher.

If it is true that Punk is just a huge fan and this is a tribute to KENTA, it may not be a big deal. However, out of respect, Punk should have reached out to see if KENTA was cool with it.

KENTA has been using some of Bryan's moves on some respect shyt. They've had their greatest matches together. Bryan gave credit to KENTA for his running Knee too today at Comic Con.

:upsetfavre:I'm talking preyoutube era. I'm sure some of those dudes inital exposure was in those games.i know there were tapes but they weren't as easy to come by. aj styles has even admitted to being a no mercy/vpw2 stan.
Sure they were. We're talking aspiring pro wrestlers in the Indy scene, this shyt is their LIFE. If you dont think they were watching and taking things from Japan you're nuts.

i didn't say they weren't taking stuff from japan or that they didn't watch tapes. i just speculated they might have also seen some of the moves from games considering some of the bigger guys from around that time have all professed their love for the aki wrestling games.

Just seen some YouTube highlights of this bwah.. and got damn Punk and Bryan done stole this nikka whole steez. D-Bry basically using his entire offensive arsenal and the short-order cook jacked dude's finisher. Like they was thinking this dude would never leave the Orient and try to come to the E or something :bryan: Luckily he seem like the type of cat that can reinvent himself and come with some next level shyt

I'm not really into all that jap shyt but I fukk with this dude heavy now, pause, and plus look at him in this picture looking like a contract killer in a Jason Statham movie or some shyt...

Nah im pretty sure they mostly get it from watching puro. alot of those roh guys were in japan for a minute especially db being in njpw for a couple of years. samoe joe's character and moveset is similar to hasimoto in japan who he worked for. Theres no way alot of indy guys dont know whos keji mutoh, chono, misawa or kobashi who which they get moves from.
