Could you find any more biased examples or did google images crash?

So showing "6-7" Wes Unseld (shortest center Wilt ever played against) is being bias?

That's the kinda name someone would drop and laugh at Wilt for playing because basketball reference lists him at 6-7. Problem is, basketball reference will never reveal how the dude is built like a Redwood. Nor will it reveal that his height without shoes is actually about the same as Ben Wallace if not a little taller. That's the truth many fans will never realize if they simply are out with an agenda to sell Wilt short. List heights today are inflated by an averaged of 1-2" where as in Wilt's time they generally more closely followed a players biological height. The difference in height of players then vs now only exists on paper.

For example; that 6-7 Wes Unseld was actually 6-7.5 w/o shoes... which is at least as tall as the "6-9" Ben Wallace who is often cited as 6-7 w/o shoes. Thus Wilt never played anyone shorter at center position than Shaq did in the "modern era". Nobody ever gives Shaq a hard time for playing Ben Wallace do they? And Kareem, 7-1 and 7/8ths w/o shoes... that's taller than the tallest player in the league right now Hasheem Thabeet, who is "only" 7-1 and 1/4 w/o shoes and Kareem is literally a GOAT candidate he is far more dominant than anyone in the league today not named Lebron - and Kareem was Wilt's competition. Let me repeat that; Kareem Abdul-Jabbar = Wilt's competition.

Wilt did not become a GOAT candidate playing "short white dudes". The opposite actually. He dominated in an era stacked with HOF talent centers.

You could've saved yourself a lot of time there by saying why you had lebron and love there and why shaq was leaning while wilt was in mid-air.

TBH he didn't dominate against Kareem did he? Even allowing for age there's not much to suggest he'd get 35 20:troll: Or that he was as good as Akeem.

35 year old Wilt (without Baylor, West, and McMillain) vs the "MVP" Kareem in the '71 playoffs. Lost the series, yet even Milwaukee fans and Milwaukee media wrote that old man Wilt outplayed their MVP King-Lew. He even got a long standing ovation from the crowd.

We won't be seeing anymore center battles like that anytime soon, the last one we got was Yao vs Shaq :to:

Two games of Walt Bellamy vs Kareem just surfaced on itunes, check em out if u got itunes. I still haven't figured out a way to convert itunes video to uploadable/editable footage but,

one of them is "Kareems NBA debut" (Pistons vs Bucks '69/'70)

the other is "Pistol Petes NBA debut" (Bucks vs Hawks '70/'71) - Bellamy now on the Hawks squad

Bellamy scores 29 on Kareem in Kareems debut and scores 21 on him as a Hawk. Muscles in and dunks strong on Kareem a few times. Kareem scores about 30 points on Bellamy in both games (don't remember the exact boxscores).

Rumor has it, the NBA has the game of Wilt Chamberlain scoring 78 points on Bellamy on film and they gave a copy to Bill Simmons on DVD as a gift one year... Id kill to get my hands on it it aint fair that theyre holding out on us like that. I never even knew these Kareem/Bellamy games existed but now that they got released on itunes it gives me hope that the league is sitting on more games from the 60's and 70's than they let people believe

It's really sad to see what the NBA has come to, most can't comprehend how dominate Wilt is cause of the lack of post play today. Wilt and Kareem would dominate in any era, they are to skilled of big men not to.

Gonna release some scoring profile vids in the future of Wilt, here's a preview:

That's just the 'Physical Tools & Athleticism' section that will premise the rest of the vid that will show how he scored from:

Left block

Right block

Transition/Deep catches/Lobs

2-man game (backdoor, p&r, give and go)

Offensive rebounds

will be about 30 minutes when finished, it is very near being finished, maybe a week or two from completion tops
